Pre-Completion for Claude
It forces Claude to run through a few things, before saying it is done with your task, this avoids a lot of headaches with failed builds, typescript errors etc.
Main Prompt
Please add the following logic to my Claude.md file.
Before you say you're done with this task, please run through the following checklist and confirm each item is complete, call it a "Pre-completion checklist":
- Build check - Verify the project builds successfully without errors
- TypeScript check - Run TypeScript compilation to ensure there are no type errors
- ESLint - Run ESLint to check for code style and quality issues
Once you've confirmed all three checks pass, let me know you're done. If any check fails, fix the issues and rerun the checks until they all pass.
Optional Add-ons
Unit Tests - Verify that my Vitest are running
E2E Tests - Verify that my end-2-end tests with Playwright works
Knip - Look for unused code/dependencies
Prettier - Format check
Please also add this to my CLAUDE.md, to ensure that the checks are run.
